Tamara (Tams) Brenes’ C-suite experience encompasses a variety of capacities and industries from growth stage to IPO. Her unique experience as Chief Financial Officer for a specialty bank, a private equity-backed manufacturing company in Philadelphia, and a mid-sized services firm in Chicago gives Tams a holistic understanding of the financial workings of any company and any industry. As an entrepreneur Ms. Brenes’ has also launched boutique brokerage and lending firms, an insurance brokerage firm – currently the largest in South Florida, a tech startup, and an e-commerce for cause-corporation.

Tams holds an MBA from University of Florida and a BS in Finance from University of Mobile. She also completed the CPA required coursework in the Master’s in Accounting program from Florida International University and advanced studies in Chemistry at the University of Miami.

Tams has devoted her social activism to supporting and empowering women and minorities. She is currently a member and a committee co-chair of Impact 100 Philadelphia, a women’s collective grant organization.
